ok so it moot.

Well before i wrote my post yesterday I had already left a message.


Well...... got a call back today. We had a very pleasant conversation of about 15 minutes or so, exchanged e-mails and such.

It was not what I was expecting. I had worried about a rush of emotion that might cloud my current judgement, I was wrong. Time does heal old wounds, I am not bitter like I once was, it was genuinely nice to hear how he was doing and to know that he is happy to know I am well and good.

Anyway it is now moot, but thanks to those who had responded.

Nice to hear that it went like that. It is a pain when old feeling suddenly pops up, and you realize that you still not have moved on.

I am glad that it worked out for you... but word to caution: calling when you are horney, sitting in a sleazy bar, hungry and wanting someone "just to talk to" ... ex-lovers should probably shy away from the "to call" list... :D
