The Temple where I attend services here sends out a wonderful little Chanukah Home Service every year and it highlights something for each night. The theme for tonight the fourth night of this wonderful festival is Tikva (hope).

Here is to all of you out there in Blogger Land. I wish every one of you good health and blessings during this wonderful time of the year. May all of you have a wonderful upcoming new year that is filled with hope and happiness.

My First Wireless Post!

Hello all!!!

I hope this finds everyone doing well. I have spent the day cleaning, shopping and wrapping presents. The holidays are well on their way around my house.

Everything is taking shape. We are having a holiday party for our friends here this thursday. I am looking forward to it. All three of the trees are up and decorated. All of the Chanukah decorations are out and ready for the festival of lights too.

As I write this I am sitting on my couch enjoying being able to do this wireless for the fist time. My hubby and my drag sister went together and got me a laptop for Christmas/Chanukah this year and I already have it. I am very excited.

I will try to either tomorrow or the next day take pics of the third tree and the other bits of festiveness to post on here.

What were you doing 10 years ago?

Oh lord I was finishing up a whirlwind first semester at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Right around this date I was in Atlanta for the SEC Championship against Florida and about to be in Florida right after Christmas for the Carquest Bowl Against North Carolina. I had also just come out of the closet that fall. Those were some crazy times!

What were you doing one year ago?

One year ago I was working near my house in a job I hated. I was getting ready to quit and go back to school full-time, little did I know I would get my job here at the University.

Ahh the Holiday's! Part II

This is the second tree in my 70's room.
As you can see from the paneling it is deserving of it's name. I will try to get some pics this weekend that show my 70's furniture as well.

Here we are with the overhead lights off. This tree is more traditional and I also call it my granny tree. Because it feels like the kind of tree my granny had when i was little. Lots of ornaments collected over the years. a large portion of the ornaments on this tree are from my husband's childhood. His mom have them to us last year.

I will have more pics after this weekend when I am done with my third tree right inside my front door in our foyer. I will also take pics of all my Chanukah decorations
as well.

Happy Holiday's everyone. Just the rest of this week and I am off for two weeks! WOOHOO! I love working for a state university! I am also all done with school for the semester! YAY!!!

The Great Cranky One

Ahhh the holidays!

This is one of the Christmas trees in my house. We have another one that has been put up and will probably have a third. Add to this the fact that I have been decorating for Chanukah as well and it is very festive around our place. I am going to be taking pictures of everything this weekend and will get them posted.

Has anyone seen me?I don't know if I am coming or going!

hey all out there in blogger land! I feel like I have abandoned you and I apologize. I am in the home stretch of the fall semester and will be done after this weekend.

I also saw Dolly Parton in concert last night she was sooo wonderful. I will write all about it later i dont have enough time right now.

My 29th birthday is also December the 12th. I cannot believe I am almost 30!!!
